science

I have applied for a science fellowship for term 3 and 4. Why? Well science seems the way (to me )that uses what we are trying to do with inquiry, thinking skills,questions,oral language,use of ICT tools in a real context - the world of science.

Why are things like Nemp showing that children at primary school don't like science anymore. Looking at ECE it seems to be an exciting part of their world - children are encouraged to experiment,wonder, try to work out how things work, lots of hands on, ask questions, try to work out how, why etc so what do we do at primary school that changes all this???

If I am successful I can see this work all fitting into my goal with Lorraine. Her and Robyn are my referees and Robyn let me see what she wrote -thanks.

I will ramble on a bit more later as I want to get my head really clear about why I want this fellowship (I am really excited about it ) and I am meeting JA on wed.
